The mounting consists of a profiled rail (1) fixed to masonry, at least one bracket (2) which can be inserted in and secured to the profile (11) in an optional position. A clip (3) or clips slide on the bracket to which they can be fastened and accept the meter connections and can be offset by not less than 900. The bracket can consist of a stepped plate from which a bar projects for insertion in the profiled rail. The clip can consist of a hollow body fitting the bar from which a claw shaped lug projects.
