<p>A seat assembly has a base (8) and a seat (9) mounted on the base (8) via a suspension (10) and being movable vertically relative to the base. A control system is provided which, when a heavier person sits on the seat (9), raises the seat (9) to a datum 'mid-ride' position for the suspension and, when a lighter person sits on the seat (9), lowers the seat (9) to the datum position. The system can either be actuated by the person sitting on the seat or be actuated automatically.</p> |
