Disclosed is a method for protecting the human respiratory organs, wherein said method uses a device comprising a filter (1) which is placed inside the nose. Said device is secured to the outer surface of the nose, and isolates the nostrils on said outer surface of the nose from the external environment. This protective device for the respiratory organs, which comprises a filter (1) and is placed inside the nose, is further equipped with a fastening member (2) which is joined to the filter (1). Said fastening member is intended and designed to be secured to the outer surface of the nose, thereby isolating the nostrils on the outer surface of the nose. The fastening member conforms the shape of the nose on the nostril side, and may also take the form of a strip with an adhesive coating. It may further include a clip to be attached to the nose. Tubes for placement inside the nose may be joined to the fastening member, and the filter fastened inside the tubes. The device may further comprise a valve (7) for the expired air connected to the fastening member. The section of the tubes may be circular, oval, rectangular, or may conform to the nasal passages. The color of the fastening member (2) corresponds to the color of the nose. The manufacture of the device involves first scanning the nose and nasal passages to obtain data concerning their shape and size. The equipment for manufacturing said device comprises a scanning apparatus for scanning the nose and nasal passages, as well as a computer recording and processing the data from the scanning apparatus. The method of diagnosis of the patient's condition involves spray-coating the valve (7) with given substances which are further analyzed following the use of the device to obtain the diagnosis. The method for warming the nasal cavity involves the application to the device of a substance which reacts with the environment to generate heat, thereby warming the nasal cavity. |
