The seal arrangement consists of a sliding ring and a support ring (2). The sliding ring and/or the support ring have conical faces on which an elastic rolling ring is mounted. The arrangement further consists of a connecting ring (12), with corresponding conical face, which holds the sliding and the support ring together as one unit. The support ring (2) is mounted in an outer ring (6,7) with internal conical surface (4") for the elastic rolling ring. The outer ring has an internal annular groove (8) into which the radial flange (13) of a connector ring (12) can be made to protrude so that it acts as a further seal.
