<p>Apparatus for providing mechanical stimulation of the lymphatic system within the trunk of the body for the treatment of lymphedema. A wrap (12) contains a plurality of bladders (44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60, 62) which are applied to the trunk of the body. The bladders (44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60, 62) are pressurized and depressurized on an individual basis to stimulate the lymphatic system to provide for drainage of pooled fluids by massaging the pooled fluids within the trunk section of the body toward selected lymph node groups.</p> |
