Structural element for transmitting and/or receiving IR radiation fitted on thin carrier

The structural element had a thin structured metal layer applied on a carrier. The carrier consists if the thermally good conducting material and the thin metal is arranged in strip type supporting elements. The thin metal layer i so structured, that the resulting metal strips, are connected in parallel with each other and with the connection surfaces aligned to the outside for the electrical connection. The metal strips can be connected in series with each other in a meander design.
