<p>The self-adhesive joint, especially for renovated door or window frames, comprises a base (1) with two side wings (2a,2b) forming an angle between them which is more or less equal to the angle of the frame rebate. The base has a bead of adhesive (3) on one side (4) and a flexible lip (6) on the other side (5). The lip is positioned more or less in line with the bisector of the angle between the two side wings. The adhesive bead is basically circular or semi-circular in cross-section and covered with a peel-off protective film layer (7), while the flexible lip can be inflatable.</p> |
