<p>The safety lock comprises a pair of rods (9,10), which are fitted with a series of notches (11). The notches are arranged on the face of the stems, which are facing the centre of the lock. The two rods are parallel to each other and to the centre line of the case and are linked together at the top by means of a slide (17). The notches are gripped by means of bolts (5,6), which are mounted on the control element (16). The control element consists of a disk (2), which is provided with two notches (4,7), one on each side, and two legs (3), which are identical and opposed, on either side of the centre of the disk. Rotation of the disk by turning the key drives, by means of the notched rod, the outer case (12) relative to the inner case (13), to engage the lock.</p> |
