A keyhole fixing assembly suitable for permanently fixing an object onto a headed fixing which protrudes from a surface comprising:- (i) a keyhole element, that is either connected to an object to be fixed, or is adapted to be connected to an object to be fixed, said keyhole element having a substantially keyhole shaped aperture therethrough, said aperture comprising a bulb and a stem shaped portion, where only the bulb portion is adapted to fit over the head of the fixing; (ii) a clip element having an aperture therethrough, said aperture being adapted to fit over the head of the fixing and to correspond with the bulb portion of the keyhole aperture; and (iii) means for preventing relative movement between the apertures, when the assembly is in a closed position, in which the fixing passes through the apertures and the step portion of the keyhole aperture overlies the aperture of the clip element.
