<p>An apparatus for clinching a channel-shaped seal on to a flange comprises two rotatable spindles 3, 4 each with its own gear wheel 5, 6 and a rotatable worm 10. The two gear wheels 5, 6 are capable of being driven directly or indirectly by the rotatable worm 10. The rotatable spindles 3, have respective axes of rotation which lie in a plane, and the worm 10 has an axis of rotation which is significantly inclined, preferably substantially perpendicular, to the plane.</p> |
