IC-card reader/writer for a data carrier

The device housing (1) has a guiding path (2) for the carrier (3) to move horizontally in it. During movement along the path, the data carrier (3) passes the reading equipment (4) and also the write unit (5), both of which are mounted in the path. The write unit visually reproduces the data read from the card onto the data carrier on a erasable writing field. The writing field is a label that is reusable and written on magnetically, chemically or thermally. The reading equipment and the write unit are connected to a host computer (6) mounted outside the housing. The data carrier consists of a carrier (T) in the form of a plastic card, with a microchip and aerial.
