Rubber blanket sleeve for offset printing

In order to provide a cost-effective rubber tubular printing blanket which can absorb high circumferential forces and, when fitted onto a blanket cylinder, fulfils all the required conditions of a conventional rubber tubular printing blanket, a support sleeve in the form of a laminated body is provided for a rubber tubular printing blanket, the laminated body consisting of synthetic material as the basic material, preferably rubber, and the basic material being reinforced by layered inserts embedded therein. A layer of rubber is vulcanised onto the support sleeve.
