<p>The running gear has a rigid axle formed as the bridge axle (1). A wheel (2) is rotatably mounted on each end of the bridge axle. Each wheel is driven by an electric drive motor (3) positioned at right-angles to the bridge axle. The angle between the drive motor and the bridge axle, especially in a spring-loaded running gear, can deviate from 90 degrees. The drive motor is arranged upright and at the same height with the bridge axle. A gearing (7) is arranged between the drive motor and the wheel rim. The drive motor may be formed as a three-phase current asynchronous engine with cage rotor.</p> |
