PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit lowering of the recording speed of an ink-jet recording device as far as possible and prevent an ink discharging portion from getting dirty due to ink mist and rebounding ink. SOLUTION: A recording duty per one scanning is obtained for recording heads of different colors that are to be used for recording (step S2), and when those recording duties D (step S3) are judged equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold value Dth (step S4), a divided recording is carried out in which a recording of an area for one scanning is divided into two scannings (step S6). This functions to reduce the recording duty per each scanning, and as a result of this it is possible to reduce a risk of a ink discharging portion for discharging ink or the like being get dirty. |
