PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium for scarcely observing an image retained without erasing by clearly observing a rewritten image even in the case of incompletely erasing to skin density with severe erasing condition. SOLUTION: In the recording medium 1 for recording or erasing an image by indicating two states of color developing and erasing according to difference of heating energy, a dot-shaped skin pattern is formed on a region for rewriting at least the image, and when 'darkness' of colors are set to '100-brightness (L*) of L*, a*, b* color system, the darkness of the skin pattern 13 set between darkness of a color developed image of a background of the skin pattern and darkness of the image retained without erasing on the background. |
