PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure superior temp. stability of oscillation frequency by forming a perovskite type multiple oxide contg. Pb, La, Sr, Ba, Sb, Mn and one or more among Ti, Co, Yb and In. SOLUTION: This piezoelectric ceramic compsn. is a perovskite type multiple oxide of the formula (Pb1-x-y-z )k Lax Sry Ba2 (Co1/3 Sb2/3 )a (Yb1/2 Sb1/2 )b (In1/2 Sb1/2 )c Mnd Ti1-a-b-c-d O3 (where 0.07<=x<=0.13, 0.01<=y<=0.07, 0.01<=z<=0.07, 0.94<=k<=1.00, 0<=a<=0.03, 0<=b<=0.03, 0<=c<=0.03, 0.01<=a+b+c<=0.04 and 0.01<=d<=0.03). It is produced as follows; stock oxides such as Pb3 O4 , La2 O3 , SrCO3 , BaCO3 , Sb2 O3 , MnO2 , TiO2 , Co3 O4 , Yb2 O3 and In2 O3 are mixed in a prescribed ratio, calcined at 950-1,050 deg.C, dry-mixed with an org. binder, granulated, compacted in a prescribed shape and fired at 1,200-1,300 deg.C in an oxidizing atmosphere. |
