PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen the distance between lattices in an Fe base metallic material and to improve its magnetic properties. SOLUTION: In a soft magnetic material in which magnetic flux freely passes through, hydrogen is incorporated into Fe base intermetallic material of Fe-R-M' and Fe-R-M'-M, where R denotes one or more kinds among Y, Ce, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm and Yb, M' denotes one or more kinds among B, Si and P, and M denotes one or more kinds among Co, Ni, Zr, Nb, V, Ti, Ta, Al, Mo and Hf. By composing the material as the above, the distance between lattices is widen to reduce the crystal magnetic anisotropy and magnetostrictive constant thereof and to improve is soft magnetic properties. |
