PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the assembly and the maintenance by forming a meter unit in a thin plate, locking a lower side part of the meter unit when it is mounted to a vehicle body side through engagement in the vertical direction, and fixing an upper side part of the meter unit when it is mounted by a fixing means from an upper part in an attachable/detachable manner. SOLUTION: A meter unit 23 is inserted in the vicinity of a meter support plate 22 approximately along the eyes of a rider from an upper part of the forward space 24 of a head pipe between a screen 11 and a head pipe 2. The meter unit 23 is turned by approximately 90 deg., and inserted in a locking hole of a vibration isolating rubber provided on a bottom side part 41 of the meter support plate 22 from an upper part. The meter unit 23 can be supported at three points, i.e., at two points on the lower side and at one point on the upper side, and the meter unit 23 can be supported by a support plate 22 on the vehicle body side while screwed only at one point. The attachment/detachment becomes easy and rapid, the assembly and maintenance are improved, the use of screws is reduced, and the cost and the weight can be reduced. |
