PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To polish the bottom of a hole of an appropriate shape by constituting a shaft-shaped main body for supporting a grinding wheel in such a state as being elastically deformed from the grinding wheel part across the intermediate part. SOLUTION: A main body 1 of a polishing tool A is so formed as being divided into a fork shape from an intermediate part 12 of a flexible synthetic resin material of a rectangular cross section so as to be elastically deformed. Respective deformed parts 11 are so set as to become gradually thinner from the intermediate part 12 toward the tip so as to secure a uniform strength and a little bent toward the outside. The base part 13 of the polishing tool A is held and attached to a chuck part b6 of a reciprocating type hand polisher B and then the hand polisher B is reciprocated. When a grinding wheel part 2 is pushed against the bottom face W of a square hole in the direction for crossing at right angles with the longitudinal direction of the main body 1 and elastically deformed, the opposed grinding wheel parts 2 are reciprocated by repeatedly approaching to and separating from each other linearly along the bottom face W of the square hole so as to perform the polishing work. |
