FIELD: textile, chemical, paper and other industries; winding of long-cut materials. SUBSTANCE: control action is formed according to preset law of changing material deformation in zone of winding. Control is provided by changing peripheral efforts conveyed to roll from side of support-and-winding rollers interacting without relative slipping. Peripheral efforts are found by calculation by microprocessor built into winding system. EFFECT: enhanced quality of winding, simplified winding process and process control system. 3 dwga
