PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject food capable of being easily coated, even when frozen or left at the ordinary temperature, capable of being distributed and stored in the gas-containing state for a long period, having a light and soft texture and low in calorie by adding a flavor and a specific amount of an emulsifier to an fatty oil or fat having a specific SFC value. SOLUTION: This food is produced by adding a flavor and >=1.5 wt.% of an emulsifier preferably a polyhydric alcohol ester) to a fatty oil or fat having a SFC of <=20% at 10 deg.C. The flavor may be added to the mixture of the fatty oil or fat with the emulsifier, wherein calorific value of the mixture is <=20% of the whole calorific value of the mixture, when the mixture is kept at 80 deg.C for 10 min, cooled to -80 deg.C at a cooling rate of -2 deg.C/min and measured by DSC from 20 deg.C to 5 deg.C. |
