SOLUTION: When a CPU of the image forming apparatus is in an error state in which an image forming operation cannot be continued and an image forming operation continuing period is detected (YES at S161 and S162), the image forming operation is interrupted (S163). A flag of 'power ON request 2' for turning on a power source of other image forming apparatus connected with this image forming apparatus is set via a network (S164), and a flag of 'power OFF request 1' for turning off its own power source is set (S165). A flag of 'data transfer request' for transferring image data stored in an image memory of the forming apparatus to other image forming apparatus is set (S166). |
