<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain lubrication at a thread engaged part so as to operate stable steering by arranging seal members slidably contacted with a rod inside both ends of a wheel nut, and enclosing lubricant in the screw space closed up with the seal members. SOLUTION: Seal members 26 are arranged at an interval of length D=1+2s in which strokes (s) of a rod 6 on both sides are added to the effective length (1) of a trapezoidal male screw part 6c, inside both ends of a wheel nut 8. Lubricant such as grease or oil is inserted into a screw space A closed up with the seal members 26. By rotation of the wheel nut 8, the rod 6 is stroked in the left direction L, grease spread on the trapezoidal female screw part 8c or the female screw part 6c is apt to be pushed out in the left direction, but it is sealed by the seal members 26 provided on the wheel nut 8, and the grease is always stayed in the screw space A without being pushed outward from the screw space A.</p> |
