PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly improve the moldability of a foam in foaming and curing a foaming mixture contg. an active hydrogen compd. component, a polyisocyanate compd., a blowing agent, and a catalyst in a specified gel time by using a compd. having a specified b.p. range as the blowing agent and by using hydroxyl compds. each having a specified hydroxyl value as the active hydrogen compd. component. SOLUTION: In a process for foaming and curing a foaming mixture in a gel time of 40 sec or longer, a compd. having a b.p. of 25 deg.C or higher but lower than 100 deg.C is used as the blowing agent and a combination of a polyhydroxyl compd. having a hydroxyl value lower than 750 mgKOH/g with a hydroxyl compd. having a hydroxyl value of 750 mgKOH/g or higher is used as the active hydrogen compd. component. A polyamine may be used together with those hydroxyl compds. The hydroxyl compd. having a higher hydroxyl value is used pref. in an amt. of 0.1-10 wt.% of the total active hydrogen compds. Examples of the blowing agent area CFC substitutes, other halohydrocarbons, and 5C or higher hydrocarbons. |
