摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flexible polyurethane foam having excellent physical properties, such as durability and mechanical strengths, even when its density is low by using a polyol mixture which comprises a polyol component contg. a specified amt. of a polyoxyalkylene polyol having specified average functionality and hydroxyl value and produced with a cesium hydroxide catalyst and a polyol component having a specified hydroxyl value in a specified wt. ratio. SOLUTION: The polyol mixture used comprises 100 pts. wt. polyol component having an average functionality of 2.5-8 and a hydroxyl value of 10-40 mgKOH/g and contg. at least 45 wt.% polyoxyalkylene polyol which has an average functionality of 2.5-8 and a hydroxyl value of 10-35 mgKOH/g and is produced by the addition polymn. of an alkylene oxide onto an active hydrogen compd. in the presence of a cesium hydroxide catalyst and 1-20 pts.wt. polyol represented by the formula (wherein R<1> is a hydrocarbon group; R<2> is 2-4C alkyl; m is 2-5; and n is 0-2) and having a hydroxyl value of 800-2,000 mgKOH/g.
