<p>A baked tile or brick is rendered water-proof with retention of its air permeability by spraying with a solution of a cold-setting resin. The resin may be an isocyanate modified polyester resin or an epoxy resin. The solvent may be a mixture of glycol diacetate, methyl ethyl ketone, butyl acetate, and toluol.
