Solid hair colorants in powder or granulate form, containing at least one oxidation colorant intermediate product, and oxidising agent and usual cosmetic additives, which also neutrally contain at least one direct-dyeing vegetable colorant or henna, are characterized by excellent dyeing results with complete coverage of greying while caring for the hair. The agent is applied to the hair in the form of application mixtures prepared by mixing it with water.
