<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a low cost material, which has a high shapability, a low thermal conductivity and further generates no gas under vacuum, by a method wherein a formed body, which is formed by binding particles and shelled hollow body particles with binding material, is included in an airtight outer packaging material, which is sealed airtightly. SOLUTION: A vacuum heat insulating material, as for which particles and shelled hollow body particles are employed, is produced under the state being mixed with a binding material in advance by being shaped and baked. The resultant shaped body is vacuum-packed with an airtight outer packaging material such as a resin, a metal sheet or their laminated material by a most economical and simple method. A shelled hollow body is a hollow body having a shell and manufacture by a melt blasting method, a thermally foaming method, a core material decomposing method, an interfacial reaction method of the like. As the binding material, a glass or a flux which forms a glass together with particles and shelled hollow body particles. The compounding ratio of the binding material is set to be about 1-40% of the volume of the particles and shelled hollow body particles.</p> |
