PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article which has a high degree of wet strength at the time of use, easily disperses into water when discarded into a flush toilet, has high safety to the body, includes sheets stable to long-term preservation and permits the easy and hygienic disposal treatment of excreta by these sheets. SOLUTION: This article includes a liquid permeable front surface sheet 2, a liquid impermeable rear surface sheet 3 and a liquid holdable absorber interposed between these two sheets 2, 3 and further includes a top sheet 9 disposed on the front surface sheet 2. In such a case, the front surface sheet 2 or top sheet 9 to be pressed to the user's skin at the time of use is formed of a removably disposed water-dispersible sheet. The water dispersible sheet consists of fiber components as essential components and further has a water-soluble binder having a carboxyl group and a compd. of one or two kinds of the metals selected from a group consisting of alkaline earth metals and zinc. |
