PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a certificate issuing apparatus for improving quality of a certificate issued by automating all steps of printing, issuing certificates of a bill and check and reissuing the certificate spoiled in writing, enhancing the issuing process of the certificate, and alleviating an operating burden. SOLUTION: A CPU 2 cuts a duplex sheet to single tickets of bill sheet and check sheet by a slitter in a certificate inspecting unit 10, compares MICR (magnetic ink character recognition) character data of bill surface and MICR character data of a check surface input from MICR readers 121b, 121b provided in a feeder 12 and bill certificate image data and check certificate image input from image readers 122a, 121b with bill and check reference image stored in a RAM 5, decides presence or absence of occurrence of error and error occurring content, selects the bill and check to normal processing ticket, reprinting ticket, error processing ticket in response to the decided result, and separately stores them in a stacker 13 of a certificate inspecting unit 10 in response to the decided result. |
