ANION EXCHANGER, ITS PRODUCTION AND CHEMICAL FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anion exchanger having a sufficient ion-exchanging performance and excellent in an effect for removing a target acidic substance to be removed in a simple production process without using a chemical agent liable to cause deterioration of work environments and deterioration of earth environments, to provide a method for producing the anion exchanger, and the provide the chemical filter. SOLUTION: This anion exchanger is obtained by irradiating an organic polymer substrate with radiations to graft-polymerize a mixture of an amide monomer having a primary amino group, a secondary amino group or a tertiary amino group with a monomer having a quaternary ammonium group to the organic polymer substrate. The monomer having the quaternary ammonium group is preferably vinylbenzyltrimethylammonium chloride. the organic polymer substrate is preferably the molded product of a woven or nonwoven fabric which is a fiber aggregate. The produced ion exchanger is excellent as a chemical filter.
