PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the ultra weight reduction and the ultra high reinforcement by mixing the carbon fiber with the resin, and welding the resin to each other. SOLUTION: The mat-like stuff 1 is heated to the prescribed temperature by an appropriate heating device in the heating process 4. The heating temperature is the temperature at which the thermoplastic resin fibers to be used are welded to each other, and set according to the material to be used. The heated mat-like stuff 1 is pressurized by an appropriate pressurizing device in the pressurizing process 5 so as to be compressed to the plate of the prescribed thickness. The thermoplastic resin fibers 3 melted in the heating process 4 are welded to each other through the compression by the pressurization. An interior trim material 6 of the desired thickness is formed. In the interior trim material 6 thus formed, the thermoplastic resin fibers 3 in the blended condition are welded to each other in an entangled condition with the carbon fiber 2, and the carbon fiber 2 is firmly held to prevent raveling and detachment. |
