FLEXIBLE CONNECTOR SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible connector system which is used in fluid transmitting system such as exhaust system of a vehicle which has an internal combustion engine, prevents vibration from the engine along the exhaust system from transmitting, and is strongly protected against undesired leak of exhaust gas. SOLUTION: A flexible connector system which shields vibration between an exhaust manifold 60 and an exhaust down pipe 70 of a vehicle responds to expansion in the axial direction and has a sealed leak stopping junction which allows one component to rotate in relation to another component. The system has a corresponding structure which fits to outlet configuration of an exist manifold with a little or no modification of the exhaust manifold. A ball joint structure, elastic mounting material, or both of them is used for rotating movement. A bellows 88 is placed for providing sealing of a pipe and expansion.
