FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing catheter with tensometric pickups in the area of antral region of the stomach, duodenal bulb, duodenum-to- jejunum connection zone, proximal region of the jejunum. After taking protein food, motor activity waves amplitude is recorded in areas under study. Volumes of mechanical work done by each area are calculated and their ratio is determined. The so received coefficients are interpreted and conclusion is drawn concerning normal or disturbed motor activity of the stomach and jejunum. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of prognosis. 1 tbln
