PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a piece of clothing with shoulder yoke seam capable of obviating picketing phenomena due to laundering, and to provide a method for forming the relevant shoulder yoke. SOLUTION: This invention comprises: the 1st clothing constituent 28 forming the outer panel of a yoke portion, the 3rd clothing constituent 32 forming the body, and the 2nd clothing constituent 30 forming the inner panel of the yoke portion are put so as to be adjacent to one another; the 1st clothing constituent is revertedly folded, and a bonding strip 50 having a heat seal element is inserted into the gap between the folded portions; the 2nd clothing constituent 30 is reverstedly folded so as to superpose upon itself; the folded portion of the 1st clothing constituent 28, the binding strip 50. the 1st clothing constituent 28, the 3rd clothing constituent 32, and 2nd clothing constituent 30 are mutually sewn by stitches 56 so as to penetrate therethrough; the sewn portion is subjected to heat and pressure to effect melting of the heat seal element of the binding strip 50, thus bonding the 1st clothing constituent 28 and the binding strip 50 to each other. |
