PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming apparatus for multi-gradation by setting changing means respectively for changing an ink density and a size of dots to be printed, and controlling gradations of images to be formed on a recording medium. SOLUTION: An ink density-changing means and a dot size-changing means are provided, thereby controlling image gradations. With a gradation 5, small- diameter dots by a photo ink are printed at an upper left position in a matrix, and small diameter dots by a normal ink are printed at an upper right position. With a gradation 6, small-diameter dots by the photo ink are printed at the upper left position, upper right position and a lower right position in the matrix. With a gradation 7, small-diameter dots by the normal ink are printed at the upper left position and upper right position in the matrix. With a gradation 8, small-diameter dots by the normal ink are printed at the upper left position in the matrix, while large-diameter dots by the photo ink are printed at the upper right position. |
