<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a machine room stepwise and easily in accordance with a process of progress of building construction work without necessitating the exchange of a governor rope. SOLUTION: The length of a governor rope 7 is set to such length that is necessary when the construction of a building is completed, one end of the governor rope 7 is fixed to a car 5, an intermediate part of the governor rope 7 is wound around a lower pulley 16, a part 7b of the other end side of the governor rope 7 is attached to the car 5 in such a manner that it can move, and a guide member 19 which guides the lower pulley 16 is provided in a lower part of a hoistway 1. Consequently, when a machine room provided temporarily in the hoistway 1 is lifted, the turn of the lower pulley 16 due to twisting of the governor rope 7 is suppressed by the guide member 19, a winding rope is reeled out from a winding rope reel in accordance with a travel amount of the machine room, and the part 7b of the other end side of the governor rope 7 is reeled out from a rope reel device 20 to prolong the length of a loop part 7a so that an ascent and descent stroke of the car 5 is prolonged sequentially.</p> |
