摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus using a porous carbon electrode electrolytic cell constituted so as to operate a regeneration means capable of always keeping sterilizing capacity as a water purifying means and having function for forming alkaline water and acidic water or special sterilizing function. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a porous carbon electrode electrolytic cell EC being a first electric cell EC constituting a first water purifying means and a second electrolytic cell EC2 constituting a second water purifying means arranged to a rear stage and water sterilized and purified by a porous carbon electrode 1 can be treated to form alkaline water and acidic water and the heating means of the first electrolytic cell regenerating the porous carbon electrode is disposed and a three-way valve 128 equipped with a purified water outlet and a hot water outlet is connected to the first electrolytic cell EC and the purified water outlet of the three-way valve 128 is connected to the second electrolytic cell EC2 and the hot water outlet of the three-way valve 128 is connected to a hot water discharge pipeline 152 and, at a time of the non-operation of the heating means, water purified by the porous carbon electrode 1 is sent to the second electrolytic cell EC2 and, at a time of operation, the three-way valve 128 is changed over to connect the first electrolytic cell EC to the hot water discharge pipeline 152 to allow hot water to bypass the second electrolytic cell EC2.
