摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricant which contributes to an improvement in the powder characteristics of a powder mixture composed of metallic powder and does not induce the contamination of the inside walls of a sintering furnace by composing the lubricant of N,N'-alkylene bis(monoamide carboxylate) adjusted in the content ratios of the crystal type of anαtype and aβtype to a specific ratio. SOLUTION: The content ratios of the crystal type of the N,N'-alkylene bis(monoamide carboxylate) which is the component of the lubricant for metallic powder metallurgy are specified to theαtype:βtype=99:1 to 0:100, preferably 30:70 to 0:100, more preferably 30:70 to 1:990. The fluidity of the mixture is improved, the apparent density is increased and the stable powder characteristics are obtained by mixing such lubricant at about 0.001 to 20 wt.% with the metallic powder. The powder characteristics may be further improved by further adding about 20 to 150% monoamide carboxylate and about 15 to 95% carboxylic acid metal salt to the lubricant described above at need.
