PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a scanning recorder in which the chromaticity can be regulated and set independently and an optimal recording can be made depending on the type of recording medium. SOLUTION: Upon receiving an image data from an input section (S11), the image data is stored in a recorder (S12). A set value of a density dial is then read out (S13) and the pulse width of a rectangular voltage being applied to a recording head is varied in order to vary the quantity of ink being jetted from three nozzles in the recording head thus making a record on a recording medium (S14). According to the arrangement, chromaticity of image data can be regulated independently by the scanning recorder and recording can be carried out at a chromaticity corresponding to the type of recording medium through a simple operation. |
