PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recording a sublimable substance by a relatively simple system to simply and efficiently exfoliate the deposited crystals. SOLUTION: This method is to pass a gas containing a sublimable substance into a vertical recovery vessel 1 equipped with a plane 4 on which the sublimable substance crystals to be recovered are deposited, and deposits the sublimable substance on the plane as the crystals, wherein surface temperature of the plane 4 is decreased from the temperature level at which the crystals are deposited, so as to allow the crystals to come off from the plane 4 and fall.
