In a frame for assembling and uniting together the component parts of a piece of furniture such as a chair or a table, the combination of a rib-like corner piece, an inset and a wedge which cooperate with a profiled leg in such as way that, by placing set screws and dowels in the specially provided seatings, a unitary structure is obtained, which not only is endowed with the required robustness and rigidity, but it is also easy and convenient to dismember when so required or necessary. |
