The telephone kiosk includes a base (4) and top canopy (3) linked by upright posts (2) and side and rear panels (1). Within the kiosk there is a seat provided (7). This is formed on two additional upright supports (8) which are mounted at their bases in the same footings (5) into which the uprights (2) of the kiosk are fitted. The structure is completed by the provision of a foot rest. This comprises a bar (9) which extends from one of the footings (5) on the left hand side of the kiosk, to another footing (6) on the right hand side of the kiosk. The incorporation of the seat posts and the foot rail into the footings ensures their secure attachment to the base on which the whole telephone kiosk assembly is mounted.
