PROCESS OF UTILIZING HEAT OF INCOMPLETELY EXPANDED HOT GASEOUS MEDIUM AND APPARATUS FOR MAKING THE SAME

The present invention is characterized by injection of condensate in a partially expanded hot gaseous medium. The condensate is evaporated and the obtained mixture of superheated steam and the partially expanded hot gaseous medium is further expanded, whereupon the completely expanded steam-gas mixture is cooled and moist steam contained in the completely expanded steam-gas mixture formed by evaporation of condensate and cooling down the superheated steam contained in combustion products as hydrogen oxide is partially or completely condensed and the formed condensate separated from gaseous components is then injected in the incompletely expanded hot gaseous medium and in the completely expanded steam-gas mixture. The apparatus for making the above described process is formed by a hot gaseous medium source (1) such as internal combustion engine and an expansion machine (2) such as expansion turbine, between which there is performed an injection space (4) for injection condensate by an injection valve (5). In the expansion machine (2) exhaust manifold (7) there is introduced a condensate trap (8), whose discharge piping (9) is connected to an injection pump (6).
