The arrangement includes an acoustic sensor for mobile platforms, such as country-, air- and water-craft, with a measuring microphone (12) and a windbreak (13) enclosing the microphone. The windbreak comprises a foam disc from highly porous material, which includes the microphone centrally. The thickness of the foam disc is smaller than the wavelength of the highest sound frequency of the frequency range to be detected, and its disc diameter is a multiple of its thickness. The foam disc (14) is inserted between two reciprocally supported, rigid discs (15,16) which cover both, from each other averted, disc surface areas.
