PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture easily and inexpensively a rubber hose with both ends of enlarged diameters. SOLUTION: A rubber hose material in the unvulcanized state or half- vulcanized state having its inner diameter almost same as the diameter of a small diameter section 15 is inserted into an insertion guide section 18 of a mandrel 10. As the end of the insertion guide section is contracted and the diameter is formed larger gradually, the hose material can be inserted smoothly into a large diameter section 17 along the insertion guide section. Also the hose material is passed through the large diameter section and inserted smoothly into a truncated core section 16, the small diameter section 15, a truncated core section 14 and a root of a large diameter section 13. The diameter of the rubber hose material is slightly enlarged by passing through the large diameter section, and the rubber hose material positioned on the small diameter section 15 is pressed to the small diameter section 15 while being pressed by a human hand and draped thereon to restore the slightly enlarged diameter to the original diameter. The rubber hose material in the above state is vulcanized to manufacture a rubber hose with both ends of enlarged diameter. |
