摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the quantity of information to be transmitted without enlarging an image pickup device by converting all image picked-up areas due to an X-Y address type solid-state imaging device to the data of images while selecting either block scan or thinning scan, transmitting these images and dislaying them by providing a memory on the side of reception. SOLUTION: At the time of start, a scanning driving signal generating means 6 outputs a switch thinning scanning driving signal to an imaging device 1, and the imaging device 1 thins prescribed pixels and outputs the result. When the first entire image is displayed, under the control of system controller 10, etc., the driving signal to be inputted to a driving signal switching means 7 is switched to the side of block scanning driving signal generating means 5. A motion detecting means 3 specifies a partial image pickup area having motion among all the image pickup areas from a voice input, etc. The block scanning driving signal generating means 5 generates a driving signal for performing block scanning to the specified partial image pickup area. Data are written in a memory means 8 at a display device.
