<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the position of an underground buried object by scattering powder to bury recesses, providing a transmission/reception antenna the on flattened ground surface to transmit and receive, and efficiently sending an electromagnetic wave into the ground. SOLUTION: On the ground surface with projections and recesses to survey buried objects, powder 2 is scattered to fill the recesses and flatten the surface. A transmission/reception antenna 3 is placed, touching on the flattened ground surface 1. Electromagnetic wave is transmitted from the transmission/reception antenna 3 to the underground and the reflection wave passing through the ground surface 1 is measured. By this, large air layer is not produced in between the transmission/reception surface of the antenna 3 and the powder 2 surface or the ground surface 1, and so the reflection at the ground surface 1 in transmission is reduced and the electromagnetic wave can be efficiently sent into the ground. Also in reception of the reflection wave, the reflection at the ground surface is reduced and the reflection wave can be efficiently received.</p> |
