<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the design method of an NTSC elimination filter and the receiver adopting it. SOLUTION: An expected energy ratio of a high resolution signal to an NTSC signal is decided, an NTSC signal stream is generated in response to the decided energy ratio, a tap number of the filter is decided, and an autocorrelation matrix of the NTSC signal is calculated by using the generated NTSC signal stream. Then power of all interruption noise at an output of the NTSC elimination filter 212 is used for a cost function. A coefficient equation of the filter minimizing the cost function is obtained by differentiation and coefficients of the NTSC elimination filter 212 are calculated by substituting the obtained autocorrelation matrix to the equation.</p> |
