PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider having an automatic stop mechanism without a tab, which is assembled by reducing the number of part items to simplify assembling and facilitate operation. SOLUTION: A housing hole 12 is provided in parallel with a guide groove 8 in an upper wing plate 4 of a body 1 of the slider for a zipper. At the rear opening 11 of the housing hole 12, an opening part 14 communicating with the guide groove 8 up to its pawl hole is provided, and at the upper part of a guide post, the housing hole 12 is shaped as a small tube. On the side of the housing hole 12, split grooves 16 are provided to arrange a through-hole 15 the center of which crosses with the housing hole 12 at right angles. An elastic plate 3 is inserted into the housing hole 12 from a U-shaped spring 34, which is locked to the small-tube shaped housing hole 12. A working part 25 of an operation body 2 is inserted into the through-hole 15, a cam surface 28 is elastically contacted with an operation part 35 of the elastic plate 3, and a spring plate 29 provided at the operation part 24 is arranged in the split grooves 16 to elastically arrange the operation body 2 freely retractably. By operating the operation part 24, the cam surface 28 is made to raise up the elastic plate 3 and a stopper pawl 33 for sliding the slider. |
